The High School program at Eastwood College is structured to offer abundant opportunities for students
to cultivate their known talents and interests while also discovering and nurturing previously unrecognized abilities.
Regardless of the academic stream a student is enrolled in, our graduation requirements at Eastwood College are designed to guarantee that our graduates are well-equipped for college and a lifetime of service and learning. These requirements embody our conviction that students develop into creative, reflective, open-minded, disciplined, productive, compassionate, and passionate adults by participating in a wide array of learning opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom.
At our High School, three curriculum streams are offered:
1. The IBDP Programme (go to IBDP page)
2. International American Program
3. Lebanese Baccalaureate
The International
American Program
Students who follow the American International Program graduate with a High School Diploma, accredited by the Lebanese Ministry of Education on completion of Grade 12 to join university at freshman level. The program prepares students to sit for internationally recognized external exams such as the SAT, SAT II, and TOEFL.
Our American International Program is inspired by the IB standards.
High School students explore the subjects in depth, develop analytical reasoning skills, conceptual learning, inquiry-based approaches, and open-mindedness; they form disciplined study habits which contribute to their continued academic success.
Subjects we offer are: Mathematics, English, Sciences, Social Studies, Foreign Languages, Business, Arts, IT, and P.E. Community service hours must be completed over the course of the three years of high school in a caring and guiding environment.
Throughout High School, Eastwood College teachers inspire students to thrive and to be the
best versions of themselves.

Lebanese Baccalaureate
The Lebanese curriculum prepares students for the national official Baccalaureate in General Sciences, Life Sciences, Sociology and Economics, or Humanities. Students sit for exams in the Grade 12, and proceed to university as sophomores. At Eastwood College, this rigorous program is much enriched with the approaches and experiences of our common teachers offering classes in the international streams, IBDP and American High School programs.
We pride in having a 100% success rate for all our students in the Lebanese Baccalaureate Official Exams (Grade 12), with top rankings across the country. This is due to our exceptional teachers and committed students, and to our dedication to instilling in our students healthy study habits, rigorous academic preparation in school, and applying all of the most up to date teaching methods to ensure their success.
Academic
Integrity
Eastwood College is committed to the promotion of high ethical standards. It instills in its learners the courage to choose right, and it is bound to ensuring all students are fully aware of what academic honesty is about, training them on the good practice that would safeguard it, and guiding them on the misconduct that might threaten their integrity. Our school policy comes hand in hand with the IB Learner profile which states that all members of the IB community strive to be principled. The terms of our Integrity Policy are aligned with the IBO code on Academic Honesty.
