All students are required to sit for an entrance exam to assess a student’s educational level. An admissions interview is required upon discretion of the administration.
Financial aid may be provided for students with sufficient documentation of financial need. The administration serves the right to accept or deny financial grants.
Students who are English Language learners and need intensive skills are provided with intensive English lessons through the English as a Foreign Language Program. Students will be taken out of certain mainstream classes for the additional support.
A student joining the International Program is required to have documentation that proves that he/she has lived outside of Lebanon for a minimum of three years, or must be a holder of a foreign passport.
All students learn three languages, Arabic, English, and French, beginning in Nursery. English is the primary language of instruction with Arabic and/or French provided as compulsory languages throughout all school levels
Students who need additional skills in English and Arabic may join the English as a Foreign Language Program, or the Arabic as a Foreign Language Program.
All students are required to wear a school uniform which consists of blue/black jeans of the student’s choice, in addition to a school polo or button down shirt, and a jersey sweater. Special school uniforms are also required for physical education classes. Uniforms may be purchased from the administration throughout the year.
An extensive door-to-door bussing service is provided within Beirut and the major suburbs.
A full time counselor is available to provide personal one to one counseling, career guidance, and academic and university advising.
Extracurricular activities are offered for students of all grades. Activities are varied between sports, arts, chess, dance, and music.
Nearly 100% of students who graduate from Eastwood pursue their academic careers in universities, locally and internationally. Acceptance rates are 95% in students’ universities of their choice.
Parents have a special place in the Eastwood College community. The Parents’ Committee is active in supporting the school, encouraging parent involvement, supporting teachers, and organizing family and fundraising events.
